The GTE can be an excellent alternative to the classic holiday by the sea.
GTE means “Grande Traversata Elbana” (Great Elban Crossing): It is a challenging trail that crosses the entire island from east to west. As you can imagine, it requires several days, with an overnight stay on the east side and a second stage at our hotel. If you wish, we can organize a shuttle to help you return to the GTE trail. It can also be hiked on shorter sections during day trips.
