The Park
Elba has been part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park together with the other islands of the Archipelago since 1996. It encompasses a stretch of sea extending over 600 km² between Livorno and the Argentario promontory, and with its total area of 79,160 ha it covers 5.4% of the total area of the National Parks.
The variety of landscapes, despite the small size of the islands, is remarkable, due to their different morphology and geological origins.
