The island of Elba is a truly marvellous island, a destination that has always been chosen since ancient times for its natural beauty, for its lush and uncontaminated nature, for the variety of its beaches, for the clear water of its sea and for the peculiarities of its fascinating towns rich in history.
The beaches on Elba are truly many and all different: long golden sandy beaches, pebbly coves, black sand or white pebble; cliffs overlooking enchanting bays and the views and its crystal-clear sea that have nothing to envy the most renowned Caribbean landscapes.
The ideal place for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the cities while enjoying the tranquillity and peace of the island while having all the necessary services, and for sports enthusiasts (hiking, mountain biking, snorkelling, kayaking, diving, climbing, etc.).
It is undoubtedly a magical place that attracts tourists from all over the world.
Elba is waiting to be discovered and can offer great emotions to everyone!
Elba has been part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park together with the other islands of the Archipelago since 1996. It encompasses a stretch of sea extending over 600 km² between Livorno and the Argentario promontory, and with its total area of 79,160 ha it covers 5.4% of the total area of the National Parks.
The variety of landscapes, despite the small size of the islands, is remarkable, due to their different morphology and geological origins.
